Mental Health Improvement through Community Colleges (MHICC)

The goal of Mental Health Improvement through Community Colleges (MHICC) is to assess the availability of and accessibility to evidence-based mental health treatments for depression/anxiety for individuals attending community colleges (CCs) in Michigan. In our current work, we aim to:

  • Understand gaps in mental health access,
  • Identify evidence-based interventions to fill these gaps, &
  • Evaluate the acceptability and feasibility of evidence-based interventions to inform potential implementation.

MHICC is actively looking for community partners & research participants!

Current opportunities to get involved:

Focus groups (via Zoom) with Michigan community college students

Interviews with Michigan community college mental health stakeholder interviews

Michigan community college participation in the Healthy Minds Study
