Mental Health Improvement through Community Colleges (MHICC)
The goal of Mental Health Improvement through Community Colleges (MHICC) is to assess the availability of and accessibility to evidence-based mental health treatments for depression/anxiety for individuals attending community colleges (CCs) in Michigan. In our current work, we aim to:
- Understand gaps in mental health access,
- Identify evidence-based interventions to fill these gaps, &
- Evaluate the acceptability and feasibility of evidence-based interventions to inform potential implementation.
MHICC is actively looking for community partners & research participants!

Focus groups (via Zoom) with Michigan community college students
Interviews with Michigan community college mental health stakeholder interviews
Michigan community college participation in the Healthy Minds Study
